- 15 mL 1M Tris-Cl (pH 6.8)
- 6 g SDS
- Bromophenol blue (to taste)
- 30 mL Glycerol
- 2 mL Betamercaptomethanol (14.3 M stock concentration)
This recipe should add up to approximately 50 mL total volume. If not, add water to 50 mL. Store 10 mL aliquots of this 6X stock in the freezer and make 0.5 mL aliquots from the 10 mL aliquots as the buffer is used up.
